         Cole
felt approximately the same way and resolved to avoid whatever it was
that Lancely smoked to inspire him.
         "Si,
though Aiden is supposed to dance too." She laughed lightly.
"Play Anne, maybe it will help Aiden to move his feet." She
glanced at Ham to see if he was staring, then nudged Gabriel. "You
no know Spanish dances?" She just couldn't resist and whirled
around Gabriel and Anne at least once, her skirt flaring out to show a
hint of ankles, then she posed, laughing again.

        He
watched Ham take his leave, doubting any heat being the cause but
needing to get back. "See you tomorrow, early." Dark eyes
switched from his retreating back to Dia. "I don't know Spanish
dances per say but I know dances to seduce." Admitting it as there
was a glance Anne's way a moment, she had seen one of them before back
to watching if Aiden could get his feet moving.

        Hiding
her smile, she took up a seat out of the way of the two pairs and placed
the flute to her lips to play. Blue eyes met Gabriel's briefly, gleaming
at him with challenge before the music began to pour free. Not too fast,
not too slow, but definitely suggestive.

        Ham was
deserting him! He looked down at Lila again, trying his best to imitate
her motions. "I don't think male hips are made for this." But
he moved well enough, just a little more stiffly. He couldn't see her
feet but did the best he could, though he glanced at Gabriel once. If he
was talking to Dia and Anne, he wasn't watching his friend make a fool
        of himself.

        "Si,
your hips are made for this. Masculine made, they move..." Moving
his hands from her hips to slide them up along her sides as she danced
closer, easing them down along that ledge of the fountain. Now her hands
were working an intricate pattern snaking up his chest, up and over his
shoulders as if measuring their breadth. Once back they would slide up
the sides of his neck, tips running along his skull as hair sifted
between her fingers. All the while the rest of her body remained in
        dancing motion.

        "Bah,
they are not as seductive as the Spanish." She gave a toss of her
head, though she grinned in Anne's direction before turning to Gabriel.
She didn't feel she danced as well as Lila but she could move well
enough. She took a few steps closer to Gabriel, hips swaying as she
danced around him. Unlike Lila, she didn't touch... it was more a tease.

        Anne
was content to watch the four in their movements as the music continued,
        sounding rather Spanish in nature.

        He was
watching too closely to realize what she was doing at first, until at
least he was moving with her in rhythm. He slid his hands along her side
and back, but no where else. And didn't notice they were drawing a
crowd. Maybe this was good advertisement for both dance studio and
        theater.

        Dark
eyes dipped, certain to catch the motion of her body in dance. He could
stand in place as hands were up to cup behind his head. Muscles rolled
as he gave subtle hip motion that certainly could be related
        to
another kind of sensual. She wanted him to dance, he would give some
        clue that he could.

        It
looked all mating ritual-esque to Anne, who lowered her eyes to hide the
        amusement glittering in the blue.

        Dear
gods, don't tell that to Aiden. He may not show his face for days.
         "Si! You
got it!" Which she felt that he could as she moved in that rhythm,
hands never touching anywhere they should not but the illusion they did.
Moving, constantly in motion as she rolled her body around against his,
easily stepping around that open space along the edge that could easily
put her in the water just beyond. That was part of the challenge too
that she escaped it each time.

        One
hand dropped to rest on Gabriel's hip as she moved behind him, pressing
her back to his briefly to match the movement of his hips. She was
around again to the front, body moving with the music, her hand gliding
lightly across his stomach, dark eyes meeting dark eyes.

        Notice
Anne was busy playing the flute, rather than talking?

        Anne
would certainly escape notice by the crones.

        Yeah...
        wasn't that nice?

        There
was the slow subtle pumping motion before the slide of hips were moving,
hands lowering from behind his neck as they didn't quite touch moving
down in a pattern over her moving body as if tracing them. That was
before whirling around before dashing a step forward with the
quick crouch down to have her up into his arms. He still wore the cut
offs from the swim earlier, sandals leaving his feet as he gave out a
piercing war cry, or some feral sound like a caveman in victory. Leaping
up to the ledge and beyond into the water. Splashing past Aiden and
Dalila in a mad frenzy as some victory ritual.
         He
laughed with her declaration, finding he was enjoying himself. A step
closer then away, watching as she narrowly missed falling into the
water. Until Gabriel gave his shout and made that wild charge. Aiden's
arms began to flail and for a moment it seemed as if he was going to
keep his balance. A second later there was a huge splash.

        Dia
gave him a sultry look as he moved his hands. She had just started to
turn when he dashed forward, and she found herself in his arms. She let
out her own scream, one mixed with laughter as they were suddenly in the
water. Her skirt would be ruined but it was worth it as she let out a
series of yips much like those given during a belly dance. It added a
heathen touch to the splashing about.

        Lowering
the flute with a wince of sympathy for Aiden and Dia, Anne shook her
head with a chuckle and took a furtive look around, praying that the
        Crones were nowhere in sight.
         Dalila
was in after Aiden, laughing as she helped him up, skirts now soaked but
didn't mind at all. The water was wonderful. "You sink like
boulder," almost falling for he was not easy to help lift.

        He
finally stopped once a full circuit of the fountain perimeter of water
was made and set Dia to the ledge as he was starting to laugh hard with
seeing Aiden fall in after all. Dalila floundering to help him up.

        Luckily
the sword hadn't landed beneath him. Ouch. He was laughing as Lila tried
to help him up and for good measure, he splashed water in Anne's
direction. If the crones were around, he'd hear about it after the next
paper, when the teasing started. "Aye, like a boulder." He was
going to squish when he walked.

        Once he
was up, she hopped up on the ledge, holding his hand as she guided him
out. "This was fun," expressing her pleasure and the fact that
he had danced with her and she got to hear his laugh. That was a good
sound and what it was all about.

        Dodging
the drops as they came in her direction, she laughed softly.
"There's no need to share with me, Sir Aiden. Really."

        "That
was wonderful, Gabriel. And Anne, you play so beautifully. I wish to see
you dance sometime though." She grinned at the dancer. "I see
the little niņas leaving and they are so happy." She curtseyed
then to Gabriel. "That was very much fun."

        He
leaped out over the edge and went straight for Anne being he was wet,
the intent to scoop her up as he had Dia, except with the distance she
would get to see him coming in those few seconds it would take.

        "I
always share." He said solemnly, then chuckled as he stepped out,
"and yes, it was fun. And refreshing. Run, Anne!"

        "...."
Seeing Gabriel headed in her direction, she took Aiden's advice and fled
        for her dry life!

        She
gave a clap of her hands as Gabriel headed for Anne. Would he manage to
catch her up or was she too quick on her feet to escape?

        That's
when he picked up speed, trying hard not to laugh as it would slow him
down for the surprised look on her face. She would feel the fingers
reaching barely touching as with a few more long legged strides they
would fully slide in a hold.

        She
started to laugh as she watched Anne run. She was very quick but it
        looked like Gabriel had her!

        Ah, but
there's where her dancer's training came in helpful as a few twists,
turns and pivots would help her wriggle free of that hold. He was NOT
going to dunk her tonight if she had anything to say about it. And it
didn't hurt that the practice dress was made of material that could tear
easily too... she gave the sleeve a quick tug, rending it from the
shoulder and grinned cheekily as she slid her arm from it to dance away
with a tongue poked out at him.

        Actually
he wasn't going to dunk her, just hold her in his arms as he ran the
circuit of water. A spray might be the best she'd get in splashed
droplets. She had twisted away but he was quick on his feet too having
danced certain kinds, maneuvering so that he would have her cornered
between the side of the building and a bin used for storage. "They
say if you stick out your tongue, you better know how to use it,"
distracting her with a gleam in his eyes before that quick dash of a
sudden that would have one arm around her back and the other tucking in
against her legs to lift her up.

        She
went to tip toe to place a kiss on Aiden's cheek while the others were
distracted. It was her way of thanking him for being a good sport. Once
back down, "I need go, it is good seeing you again Aiden," big
        smile up his way.

        A
squeal of surprise rent the air when he caught her up, though it was
soon replaced by a sly smile. So he was going to be that way, was he?
Very well, he deserved what he got. Since she was already caught against
him, she leaned over and slowly, tauntingly and otherwise teasingly
trailed the tip of her tongue along his neck, ending with a nip at his
        ear. Hey, he started it!

        He
smiled, pleased, at Dalila as she got back down. "Thank you for the
dance, Dalila. It was good to see you again." He couldn't see what
Anne had done since they were half hidden. Maybe that was a good thing.

        "So
you do know how to use that tongue of yours," except the tip of
that tattoo lifted from his skin as her tongue trailed up that side.
That was before the mad dash across the court and with a leap he was
over the ledge and into the water with a splash. Feet were planted solid
before he was running the circuit, she was close enough to trail the tip
of his tongue up the edge of her ear in return. Eye for an eye,
        tongue
for a tongue. Teasing it with just the tip and ending with a flick by
the time he had her around to set on the ledge. He stepped back
        grinning.

        "I
should go too." She smiled as she watched her sister and Aiden then
laughed when she watched Gabriel return with Anne. Ooo, they were both
        evil.

        "We
dance again sometime, si!" Only catching a glimpse as Gabriel
dashed around the fountain for her focus had been on Aiden. "You
are handsome man, si. No one say different." Adding a sassy wink
before she linked her arm with her sisters as the two would need to
change into dry clothes now. The night had met her expectations in fun
        and then some.

        Anne
wasn't fully immune and gave a small shiver as she was set down, but
grinned up at him. "Play nice, Gabriel, and I'll play nice
        back."

        "Good
night, Anne and Gabriel. We see you both soon! Good night, Aiden. Listen
to my sister. She is very smart." She laughed as they headed back
to the theater. Nice and cool now!

        "Good
night, Dia. Good night, Dalila." Called after them, she had to
wonder what possessed her. And hoped no one but the two of them saw it.

        "That's
a deal then," dark eyes held before shifting as Dia and Dalila were
leaving, "thank you for the dance Dia," sweeping her a bow,
soaked or not before straightening. "I enjoyed it."

        "I'd
like that. Good night, Dalila, Dia. Rest well and thank you for making
me smile." It was then he noticed the crowd dispersing and bit back
        a groan.

        "You
are most welcome, Gabriel. It was fun and so was the dance you did
after. Good night, Anne. We talk soon!"

        "Si!
We talk soon," echoing her sister as Raul had informed them of the
new play to work on. With a last wave of her free hand she was dashing
back inside as they would see to locking up the theater for the night.

        She
heard the groan and bit back a chuckle. "Something wrong, Sir Aiden?"

        "We
had an audience." He chuckled as he joined the two, motioning to
        the dwindling crowd.

        "Perhaps
you'll become the red hot knight," words real low in a chuckle as
he stood near Aiden at this point. "And the Crones will get you
too!" Called after the dispersing crowd. Watch them run!

        "Only
to admire your grace and skill." The smile was teasing then as she
plucked away the damp fabric from her body.

        Perhaps
it had been luck that Anne still had her clothes on if they came apart
that easily. The catching, dashing and running through the water.

        "Aye,
and that includes me falling into the fountain." He shook his head
but was laughing as the crowd really took off. Some laughing as they did
of course. "At least we'll be cool during the walk back to the
        hall."

        "They
will hear you squishing," pointing to Aiden's feet as he still had
his sandals on. Which at this point he was over to slip his feet back
into his."I had a good night, thank you for being a part of it too,
Anne." Collecting the near empty bottle of potcheen the two had
shared as he'd take that back up with him to the hall also.
"Unfortunately it is time to go as we need be up at dawn,"
luckily not having drank to any stupor or they would be in trouble come
the morrow. "A good night, I'm sure we'll see you again." Blue
touching over dark eyes with the brief bow of his head.

        "Good
night, gentlemen." She raised a hand to bid them both farewell.
        "Sweet dreams."

        "So
they will." He smiled at Anne and nodded. "I enjoyed your
playing by the way. Good night, Anne."

        With
that he headed out with Aiden, arm slung over his comrade's shoulder.
"So, what do you think they will say in the Gazette when the next
issue comes out?" He was still in a slightly wicked mood.

        "Something
about dancing knights, dancing at night?" Voices fading away as
        they headed off.
