Their painting hangs
in the main hall with the rest of her family, adding to its rich history. ~~~~~*~~~~~ ±§± |
A light breeze picked up the long lengths of
golden-streaked light brown hair as she sat curled up on her favorite window sill. Oceanic
blue gaze washed
down over her lands before her, deep in thought as usual. With each day came
a new happiness or heartache that was adding to her history and
Heathfield's. She was not the flamboyant type, yet she held a quiet grace about her. Her attitude was one
with her people, not above them. She served in her position, never having sat even once on
the physical throne within the castle. Symbolic. |
Life has its twists and turns, a few of which wrung her heart good, leaving her distant at times. For awhile she no longer believed in love, coming to believe instead that betrayal was cultured more by others. She had a history of betrayal in the area of the heart, including friendships. Her openness to trust others was sorely bruised. In spite of such others she also had many long time trustworthy friends whom stood by her side during these hard times. It was they whom held her up in spirit when she would have given up and disappeared back to the woods she had come from. There is much to be said for at least one good friend. Luckily she had a few, far more than the betraying ones. Her history, along with Heathfield's, is long. She had not grown up in the courts as it should have been. Her parents had been ambushed and murdered in the game of politics when she was young. An evil man by the name of Rath took over Heathfield through betrayal. Those were the dark years under his rule. Honeee and her twin sister Amberlette were rescued from the massacre by an old friend and wizard by the name of Thalan. They grew up under his guidance, teaching them the Druid ways and how to live as one with the universe, nature and God. Their heritage had been kept a secret so that Rath would not seek them out and see to their demise. |
She and her sister ventured out on their own once of age, their individual adventures now written within the pages of Heathfield's history. They are constantly being added to as each day brought a new dawn and the gifts of life opened one by one. Lessons of the past, both good and bad, helped to form the growth of each individual. Through tears and laughter they were fashioned like the sword to the fire, honed and strengthened. Sons: Andrew, twins Leoric & Gaidan, Tykir, Carlton, along with twin daughters Lah & Henna and Solarina Rose. Rina and Tykir having wings like their father, yet more like their mother in appearance, a new race had been born. |
Andrew Barrett MacNeil In recent times Prince Andrew has made a crystal embedded with a drop of his blood to protect some of his friends. Andrew, being the ancient that he is, added even more for the crystal was of his cave and much embedded in Druid ritual. Only the owner of such necklace can remove it from their necks and if a vampire gets too close the blood turns to a golden light becoming brighter each step closer. It can also be used by its owner to teleport them to any part of Heathfield lands, for they are warded and hold the same link set by Andrew. The Grugrach Many don't know what a Grugrach is, so here is its description and a few more interesting facts: The Grugrach is a Fae creature about three feet high looking much like a werewolf or a three foot Big Foot. It's very hairy but what is just as noticeable is its kind and intelligent eyes. I suppose its ugliness to humans was to scare them off for they are even more elusive than any other Fae creature. They are also shape shifters. How their blood got mingled with human as in the royal family of Barrett. A story of love that went beyond the physical. They live deep in the woods gathering herbs and such for healing, a very magical and gifted creature. One of its unusual qualities is its blood for it is like 'liquid sunshine' to an undead (ie: vampire). In short, if a vampire got this blood in them, it would be like drinking in the sun from the inside out. Those with this bloodline: Aaeron Barrett, Lahoneee, her bloodline sons and daughters (see above), Amberlette and her children (Sean and Atessa) DeBurgh. |
