Born of Old Money as some would put it, her parents had plans to marry her off to another noble family of old money. She would have nothing of it and convinced them to marry her off in this new expedition in the New World. They begrudgingly agreed but it was the rave as other noble families were doing the same. Eventually these girls would become know as the Casket Girls where in actuality it was Casquette. Once exception was she managed to slip by the Ursuline nuns who intercepted the girls getting off the ship. There were no real noble suitors as the noble families of France were led to believe.
