Betting Rules

Only 4 horses total can be Bet on per Official Registered Race with Coin, 2 horses for Bartering.
You can bet on one horse a race or not all races but the most you can bet is three horses per how many races run.

There is no Official Betting on the Hometown Race. Private betting is allowed. There are Prizes for the winners.

We are set up as a Barter to Win Prizes platform and/or Coin. Each race you pick up to 2 horses and what you offer in Barter per Horse chosen or something larger fitting both picks in a race or something of greater value for all three races. Barter things within your possession or can make.

If  using Coin: there will be no less than 10 coppers per bet. There is a cap of 20 Silver per horse each race. 80 silver the most one can bet per race if they bet the limit on four horses. Make bets in either copper or silver, no combination.

You can Barter in one Race and use Coins in another but each Race should be Barter or Coin, not a Combination

Barter is rule of thumb should equal at least a silver's worth or one large item can be bartered for all races such as a horse or wagon. For one race (two horses) such items as crafted bows/arrows, swords, puppy and so forth. Smaller bartered items for one horse in a race. If bartering one large item, put it on the first horse bet along with for all races.  If a perishable item such as food, present it as a certificate to be redeemed.

All barter items should have a picture sent to PatrickMFrasier or Lahoneee if not in Certificate Form

Hometown Race is done separately and no Official Betting, Winners are Citizens/Friends who Participate in Riding

In an effort to make a better ratio of winning over losing, we will now have four horses for those betting coin can pick from of ten-twelve horses in each race. Bartering will remain at three horses out of ten to try and balance the two.

Coin: Win pays 800% of bet, Place pays 700% of bet, Show pays 600% -- Minus the original bet.
Barter: Gains Prize stated for that Race Position if a Winning Bet. Bartered bet is kept, prize won or not.
